Workplace sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) identifies sexual harassment as unlawful harassment of any person, applicant, or employee, based on a person’s gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. This course is designed to help you understand and identify sexual harassment in your workplace and in remote work situations, your responsibilities, your employer’s responsibilities, and compliance with federal law.
Workplace harassment is very common, but it is rarely reported. Statistics show that nearly 85% of victims do not file a complaint or press charges.
